Our field trip for today:

Fossils, fossils, and more fossils.
Even, yes, that DOES say "Fossil Dinosaur Poop!"

Surprisingly, this was the only one that my kids found frightening. It's a giant turtle. Ok, it's REALLY big, 15 feet across and 11 feet long, but it's still a turtle!

Megalodon teeth, though?
Bring 'em on.

They have a big hands-on play room with all kinds of cool activities.
Elliot was mostly excited to be allowed out of the stroller for a while.

Notice in the picture above, he is standing, without holding on to anything!
He refuses to actually take a step, but I am sure he will be able to as soon as he wants.

Panning for gems. They got to keep all the little chips they found. Rory found quite a lot!

They also got to dig for fossils, both big fake ones, and tiny real ones.

And the best part; they got to keep one fossil each!

Daisy found a sand shark tooth.

Rory's is a mackerel shark tooth.

Daisy was hysterical, holding her dress out of the "sand" to keep it clean. Really just little bits of rubber.

Elliot, no idea what's going on, but smiling for the camera!

History of space flight.

Giant dump truck. It doesn't get much cooler than that.

Except for the TYRANNOSAURUS REX!

Here's Elliot's impression of the T. Rex:

Oh cool!
Elliot is so big, and just as cute as can be.
I can not believe how big Elliot has gotten... he skipped one and looks 2!!
The museum looks like a ton of fun!
