Rory's 4 Year Check Up

A little early, but since he is starting preschool tomorrow, we decided to do his school check and 4 year visit in one trip.
He's up to a whopping 32.4 lbs, which seems huge, lol, and 40 inches tall. So, 25% for weight and 50% for height. He's my string bean :) He was a big show off too, doing all the things on the checklist as they were read off, and then some! For example, when we got to "Counts to five" he not only counted to 5, he did it in Spanish, lol. And we all know he can count well past that.
He is now officially caught up on all his vaccines, but he had to get 3 sticks today. He wasn't too happy about it, but did a great job holding still and recovered very quickly, especially when he heard there was a treasure box!
So he is now officially enrolled in school. He isn't actually starting until 8/21, but he is going for a visit day tomorrow. He is starting out in the preschool class, and then he is going to be evaluated by the preschool and junior kindergarten teachers and possibly the principal to decide which class he should go into for the year. Junior kindergarten kids would be older than him, but since he is academically way above kindergarten level, it might still be more appropriate. We just have to see how he does with following directions and interacting with the other kids, etc.
