18 Months Old!

Daisy is now 18 months old! I still can't believe she's going to be a big sister soon. She is getting to be a very big girl though, and starting to be insistent about doing things all by herself. She can get herself completely undressed, as long as there are no snaps, buttons, or zippers blocking her way, and has been trying very hard to get herself dressed too. She is picky about her clothing and would change 3 or 4 times a day if we let her. Everything has to be "pretty," preferably with flowers and/or butterflies in purple or pink.
This weekend she moved from her crib to a "big girl" toddler bed. She was very excited about the bed being set up and had a lot of fun tucking various stuffed animals and dolls into bed. She was not as happy about finding out we expected HER to sleep there! She is getting used to it though, and has only fallen out of bed a couple of times. Last night she went through a long getting ready for bed routine of collecting a variety of dolls, toys, and blankets to sleep with her, along with her regular taggie blankets and pacifiers. It was really sweet when she finally snuggled down into her pillow and pulled her covers up over her though! Today Ben tried to put her down for a nap in the crib and she was madder about that than she was about napping in her bed. She's been napping for hours in her bed now!
