Thursday was my birthday. We took the day off and went to meet up with some friends in San Fransisco. They were visiting from NJ and had never been there before. We had a great time.

Me and Daisy on the PierWe went to Ripley's Believe It or Not, which was interesting. Rory really liked it. His favorite part was the giant pin board in the lobby. He pretty much dominated it for about 20 minutes!
This was another favorite of course, a giant stegosaurus made of car bumpers!We finished the day at The Rainforest Cafe, which was also a big hit. We were sitting in the underwater section, with big, floor to ceiling tropical fish tanks! And we got a volcano of chocolate cake and ice cream, yum!!!

These pictures came out great!! I'm so happy we were able to see you on your birthday, and I'm just happy to get to see California finally! I loved Rory's comments on why he liked me... he knows the deal. We miss you guys already and actually were looking at the cost of living in Cali (which is scary expensive) Tell the kids that we say hello and tell the man what up:) love, Andrea
