Daisy Update

Daisy is fifteen months old! She's getting so big. She loves to eat...I think eating is her favorite activity. She loves all food. She's only ever turned down one thing and that was onions! Everything else she loves! She can eat an entire sandwich and then finish off whatever Rory doesn't eat fast enough! She mostly signs "more" when she's hungry (which is always) but sometimes I can get her to say "eat" too.
She says a lot of words, but mostly only I can understand her. She gets the first consonants and then all the vowel sounds, but leaves out most middle and ending sounds. The only exceptions are Dada and Rory, which are perfectly clear most of the time. Her favorite new phrase is "so pretty," which comes out as "so pwe-ee." All her baby dolls are so pretty, any pictures of her are so pretty, and she will comb her hair and tell me she's so pretty. She also likes to comb my hair, which usually just means smacking me in the head with the comb :) She even tries to make the dog so pretty, but Fiona usually won't put up with it. She also loves shoes. She can say that really well too. She especially loves Rory's new Lightning McQueen crocs, which leads to a lot of fighting over them.
Her other favorite word is "off," mostly sounds like "uh," but we know what she means because she pulls on her clothes while she's saying it. She prefers to be naked, but usually listens to me about keeping her diaper on. Actually, she has really fantastic listening skills in general. She can follow even multiple step directions like "You can't slide with taggie blanket, come give it to me first, then you can climb up the steps." She actually turned right around, handed the blanket over, and went back to the slide! She's very proud of herself for figuring out the slide too. She climbs up the steps and then turns around and goes down the slide on her tummy. She always claps for herself at the bottom!
