Dinosaurs!

We had a busy day...We went to the California Academy of Sciences Steinhart Aquarium today! They were having a special dinosaur exhibit. Rory LOVES dinosaurs! Guess what his favorite is?
It was fun. They had a lot of hands on stuff and fossils to feel. Rory was so excited to get to touch real dinosaurs!

There was also a touch pool in the aquarium, so he got to feel starfish, hermit crabs, abalone shells, and he tried to touch the little fish but they were way too fast!










So what did Daisy do? Well, she loved the whole thing! She rode in the moby wrap (3 hours and no back pain for me!) mostly facing out to see everything, and kicked her legs and waved her arms at everyone! She smiled at the little brightly colored fish and "talked" to them too.
Upstairs they had a play/discovery area for little kids, and a section for little babies too! Daisy had a great time smiling at herself in the mirror and playing on a padded mat on the floor. She even played on her tummy for a long time, something she usually hates!
