He loves his bouncy seat and grabs at the toys hanging from the bar. He's started grabbing for all kinds of things. Mostly my shirt and hair. Or my skin. He's getting to be quite a pincher. He's also started copying other faces besides just smiling, and he will oooh and aaah back at us when we do it to him. We've probably got another early talker on our hands. He turns to see things above or behind him too, and will look back and forth between two people talking to him.
Yesterday he had his first playdate :) She was born on Rory's birthday, so she's 4 days old in the picture. What a difference two months makes! She slept through his entire visit, and I don't think she really registered as a person to Elliot, lol.
Speaking of Rory's birthday...it's been a week long celebration! On Friday we went to the park to celebrate Toby's birthday (the one who was sick for the first party). The kids all worked together to build a road made of sand for the dump truck. It was very cute.
On Rory's actual birthday, we took him out for pizza and games. They had a lot of fun, of course. I can't believe he's FIVE! He's very excited to be five and start kindergarten! School starts next week, on Tuesday. We're going to go by this week to find out who his teacher is and check out the classroom. I think any teacher who winds up with Rory in her class deserves a warning in advance, lol.

Daisy is doing well too. She is learning how to answer questions, like her name and her big and little brother's names. She even surprised us by knowing MY name, although she just called Ben "Daddy" when we asked her his name. She discovered Barbie dolls at a friend's house yesterday. She even was lucky enough to bring one home! She's been carrying it around and calling it her "pwicess (princess) baby."

Elliot is a BIG boy Amnesty!
Happy Birthday Rory!!
And how cute that Daisy can answer questions... we're working on saying "I'm 2!" It comes out "You're two" pointing at me!
Oh wow he is a big boy but he couldn't be any cuter!
Wow, Elliot is a BIG baby. Anya was pretty big, too, but she was only 12 1/2 lbs at two months. Yikes! How awesome that he's copying expressions and imitating some sounds already - you have such smart kids! You've got some exceptional genes over there :)
It's exciting that Rory's starting kindergarten already. Is he going to the public school? Do they offer full-day kindergarten in your area? I think we live in one of the only districts in our county that still has half-day.
Very cute about Daisy's princess baby and answering questions. Ugh, Anya's been asking questions non-stop over here, and it's making me crazy. How many times can a person answer "What's that?" in a five-minute period before losing her mind?!?
LOL, non-stop questions...welcome to my world.
Rory's going to private school actually. We found out it wasn't much more $ than after school care at public school. It's all day K, plus before and after school care. Public school is half day. The other plus is that the private school has an accelerated curriculum. Still not up to where Rory is, but closer than most K classes.
Happy belated birthday to Rory!!! Exciting about K!
Wow, Elliot is a big boy! That's how Noah has been.... trying to catch up to Braiden.
